Senior Account Manager Jobs description
A senior account manager is responsible for meeting and exceeding sales targets assigned. Typical duties of a senior account manager include directing the efforts of junior account managers; training account managers; cold-calling, fixing up appointments with clients through phone calls or meetings; visiting customer's home or office accompanying a junior account manager; understanding customer requirements and suggesting a product or service accordingly; convincing the customer; closing the sale and ensuring proper post-sales support; coordinating with other departments; retaining existing customer-base; ensuring premium services to high net-worth or premium customers; and motivating account managers. A senior account manager typically reports to a sales director.A senior account manager should have a bachelor's degree and preferably an MBA. Several years of progressively responsible experience in the field of account management is essential or a senior account manager position.
