Insurance Account Manager Jobs description

An insurance account manager is responsible for selling insurance policies to customers in the assigned territory. Primary duties of an insurance account manager include meeting and exceeding sales targets, cold calling, prospecting, fixing appointments with clients, explaining insurance policies/plans and the benefits, problem solving, persuading clients to buy a policy, and handling all the hurdles before closing a sale. An insurance manager reports to a regional manager.
An insurance account manager should have an associate's degree or a bachelor's degree. Prior experience as an insurance account executive may be required for most positions.
