Medical Account Manager Jobs description

A medical account manager is responsible for meeting and exceeding sales quota assigned to him/her for medical products or services. Other responsibilities for a medical account manager positions include getting new accounts or contracts from hospitals, clinics and medical centers; getting new service and medicinal contracts from existing customer-base; working on medical promotional programs, on-site medical programs, and other medical services; proposal development, cross-selling, and up-selling medical products to customers; creating awareness about new medical products; negotiating on an organizations’ behalf on signing new contracts with hospitals; and ensuring uninterrupted medical supplies to big clients. A medical account manager may report to a healthcare account director.
A medical account manager should have a bachelor's degree and sound experience in the field of medical account management. Prior experience of working as a healthcare account executive is essential. Medical account managers desiring a job change may receive preference from some employers.
