National Account Manager Jobs description
A national account manager is responsible for handling sales accounts of clients nation-wide. The typical responsibilities of a national account manager include meeting and exceeding sales targets for all the regions assigned; ensuring proper training and motivation to the account executives; handling administrative issues or disciplinary issues in the management of account executives; assigning sales quotas to account executives; meeting high net worth customers and converting the opportunity; handling objections from customers; and coordinating with technical department, marketing department, and the customer service department. A national account manager typically reports to a sales director.A national account manager should have a bachelor's degree in a relevant field. Several years of progressively responsible experience in account management is required. Excellent customer service and negotiation skills are essential.
