Job Summary

SHI has an exciting opportunity in our Enterprise Outside Sales Department. The Account Executive's role will focus on new business development efforts across specifically named large cap Commercial prospects.This position plays an integral role in the execution of our Enterprise Commercial acquisition strategy. With the guidance of the Regional Director and SHI's Support, Training and Development teams, a successful Account Executive will be equipped to engage and position SHI's world class services to the largest corporations in their operating geography.

Responsibilities/Job Function

•The Enterprise Commercial Account Executive will be responsible for leading SHI efforts in helping customers and prospects address their corporate goals. This includes developing a robust understanding of customer and prospect decision making process and IT profile.

•The Enterprise Commercial Account Executive must have a strong working knowledge of the IT Industry Portfolio (End User Computing, Datacenter and Security), be very knowledgeable with leading OEM product solutions, and possess the ability to build strong alliances with field based technology partners within the operating geography.

•The Enterprise Commercial Account Executive will need to effectively position and present SHI’s core offerings. These offerings will include but not be limited to strategic planning and consulting for software, hardware and professional services solutions; IT Asset Management; OEM supplier rationalization; E-commerce and business tool support, etc.

•Position and present all SHI’s offerings to customers and prospects

•Must advance and develop customer relationships

•Must advance and develop software and hardware manufacturer relationships

•Responsible for developing customer profiles for IT standards and key personnel

•Position and qualify leads for SHI’s Professional Services and Cloud offerings

•Position and qualify leads for Software Asset Management (SAM)

•Help manage custom customer catalogs

•Lead quarterly business reviews / Spend Analysis Presentations

•Work with Inside Account Managers with Sales Forecasting, Quoting and Ordering

Qualifications/Minimum Skills Required

Self-starter with excellent time management, planning, and organization skills

•Display Successful track record of achievement in inside or outside sales

•Strong written and verbal communication skills

•Strong presentation skills

•Ability to travel

•Minimum 2 years’ experience field experience preferred.

•Bachelor’s Degree

Preferred Skills:

Working knowledge of major Software License programs is desirable (Microsoft, IBM, Adobe, VMWare, etc.)

Working knowledge of major OEM Hardware and Services programs is desirable (HP, Dell, Lenovo, Apple, Cisco, etc.)
