In this role, you are responsible for prospecting and presenting the WHI proposition to the Automotive Industry covering OE, AM and HD. WHI Offers a suite of e-commerce and e-catalog products in this industry and the goal is to bring qualified sales opportunities to the sales team. This will start as an inside sales person but is able to expanded into an outside sales person if the candidate so desires.
This role will be based in WHI's Rye Brook, NY office. Candidates must be willing and able to work out of either the Rye Brook office (Preferred) or our Valencia, CA office full time. This is NOT a remote position. Unfortunately, we are NOT able to provide re-location assistance for this role at this time
Manage a balanced pipeline cycle with consistent follow-up on all referrals provided to qualify potential and priority. Ensure leads are qualified for potential to provide accurate forecast of future scale and opportunity.
Consistently achieve/exceed calls/lead quota; selling to both new accounts as well as existing WHI customers. Must be proficient in both elements.
Build relationships across customer organizations via telephone, webinar, and digital platforms.
Set appropriate customer expectations around Enterprise, Strategic or Key level account support, on-boarding, timing, and cost of sale.
Effectively cross sell and up sell full WHI value proposition to secure leads for growth.
Document all communication with potential customers in an accurate and timely manner in established CRM systems - ensuring highlights are communicated and understood by internal partners.
Ensure smooth transition and handover of acquired customers to sales team.
Ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of the customers by understanding the products they have and look to cross sell products they don’t.
Discuss with customers their needs and find opportunities
Work to identify lists or potential new customers using 3rd party sources and integrate this into our leads generation program.
Deliver a consistent pipeline of priority targets; collaborating with sales management, seller marketing, and other partners to attract target businesses
Optimize new seller acquisition experience through one to many approaches such as webinars, videos, and content creation
Maintain a deep knowledge of the WHI Product and Value proposition along with tools and resources available to increase team efficiency.
Set appropriate expectations around account support, on-boarding solution, timing and cost of sale
Effectively cross sell and up sell full WHI value proposition to secure leads for growth
Document all communication with merchants in an accurate and timely manner in established CRM systems whilst ensuring key highlights are communicated and clearly understood by key internal partners
Ensure smooth transition and on-boarding of acquired clients working with sales and Merchant Support Operations to ensure appropriate levels of post-sale training and account management.
Knowledge and Experience
BS/BA degree in a related field required or equivalent professional work related experience
3 years’ experience in Account Management, Sales, or Sales Operations role with strong performance track record
Specialized industry domain experience in e-commerce ; Expertise in IT Technical and eCommerce industry and channels, Automotive Experience a must have
Ability to maintain order during rapid growth through process and data evaluation building a sustainable infrastructure in which sales can grow.
Solution selling skills with a consultative style
Strong Customer Service Skills.
Ability to effectively communicate through all mediums. Verbal, written, listening.
Outstanding presentation skills; Strong communication, both verbal and written
Positive relationships with internal partners, and proven ability to build productive partnerships with individuals at all levels within the organization (from senior executives to entry-level employees)
Ability to work in a cross-functional matrix environment independently whilst ensuring strong communication with team and partners
Positive attitude and someone who can work well with others to meet and overcome challenges
Ability to quickly adapt to a constantly changing environment
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite; proficient with Salesforce CRM a plus
