What you will be doing:
As a Regional Healthcare Manager (RHM), you are considered the healthcare business and clinical expert within a defined region and are accountable for achieving top line healthcare vertical revenue goals through our distribution network. You will have a working knowledge of healthcare trends and issues including the ability to apply research and insights for both administrative and clinical spaces, understand how to leverage our GPO relationships with hospital supply chain, secure product specifications through healthcare focused Architecture & Design firms, and develop business key business relationships with healthcare client and dealer influencers/leadership.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
Ownership of 5 to 10 Healthcare Accounts or Targeted IDN's;
Collaboration with key focus healthcare dealers;
Influence and gain Architecture & Design (A&D) specifications;
Create annual sales plan aligned to national and regional objectives to achieve overall regional healthcare sales goals.
You will achieve success in these areas by:
Demonstrating a deep understanding of healthcare market, customers and their issues
Building and maintaining strategic relationships with key decision makers across End User Accounts, Healthcare Architecture & Design firms, and Dealer Partners
Mobilizing and integrating Steelcase and dealer resources to create sales opportunities
Closing profitable sales
Personal and Professional Development; Engage with Steelcase and Industry resources for continuous learning and act as a coach/mentor for other team members and dealer healthcare sales professionals.
Steelcase RHM's have demonstrated capability managing through distribution and complex and longer selling cycle. They act as designated design, technical or clinical product expert when needed, and provide informal leadership to the greater sales team (e.g. account managers, dealer sales representatives, etc.) insuring market/account plans are executed and business is secured.

Education and Experience:
This is a lead sales professional position that typically requires a minimum of 5 to 10 years’ experience with a proven sales record in major capital equipment and preferably clinically focused healthcare sales. Business/related college degree OR equivalent experience required.
