The Amazon Devices team develops relationships with retailers to expand product selection and distribution in physical locations where customers can experience all of Amazon's devices first hand in the real world. As the Senior Account Manager of New Accounts, you'll be responsible for developing new relationships in the 'new to Amazon' sales channels. You will build creative solutions for business requirements across all of Amazon's exciting new Alexa and Echo products. You will own the creation of sales and marketing strategies, promotional activities and deployment strategies. This will require you to work with both internal and external teams' product, business development, sales, and logistics teams to drive financially viable, high volume programs that provide our channel partners, distributors, and end users with top-tier business solutions. You will represent your business's success in meetings with leadership and meet regularly with our channel partners' leadership to develop long term strategies as well as drive short term program executions. Other responsibilities include: Develop new relationships to sell and promote Amazon devices and accessories. Negotiate trading terms (e.g., discount rate, advertising, placement, returns provisions, payment terms, freight terms) for assigned accounts Lead internal and external business reviews covering strategic initiatives Create initial sales forecasts, determine allocations, and plan shipments for each SKU Optimize allocation of marketing development funds Collect business and market intelligence You will get a chance to show off your abilities including: Executive communication skills, both written and oral/presentation. Solid understanding of financial analyses Independence and flexibility High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously Willingness to roll up one's sleeves to get the job done Well-timed tenacity and conviction Basic Qualifications 7 years of relevant work experience in sales/account management, e-commerce, and/or retail Bachelor's degree Experience with PowerPoint and Excel Preferred Qualifications A Masters of Business Administration (MBA) degree or equivalent experience is highly desirable.
