Account Manager - Oilfield Services','21735','!*!JOB SUMMARY: Increase profitable sales of Airgas Nitrogen Services’ - Oil & Gas Up-stream sector - in the Oklahoma, West Texas, Kansas and Arkansas area, through prospecting, development of relationships, growing the current customer base and ensuring the timely and successful delivery of our products and services to meet our customer’s requirements. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Works safely and meets the requirements of all safety procedures and rules as prescribed by State, Federal, and the Company.Increases sales and profit margin through penetration of assigned accounts and by closing new accounts in the Upstream Oil & Gas energy market. Effectively manage pricing actions and promote an optimal cost to serve position across client operations.Prepare Quotes for Well Site Projects and long term contractual opportunities. Demonstrates products and services and explains features of each product and service. Emphasizes benefits of Airgas Nitrogen Services products and services to potential customers.Support and grow the Airgas Nitrogen Services relationship and brand with the largest and most strategic Upstream clients through the effective use of strategic accounts sponsorship and by leading regional customer facing teams in the articulation and delivery of the value proposition Compile lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from various sources. Actively work all sales leads within the Upstream marketReports any problems or required maintenance on any installed piece of equipment to supervisor. Act as liaison between customer and company with regard to pricing, products, delivery information, payments, service and inquiriesEnsure that customer inquiries related to billing problems, daily and final cost summaries, time of delivery, etc. are promptly and courteously handled, providing follow-up as necessary.Complete and submit sales-related paperwork, including sales reports, mid-month reports, expense reports, etc., accurately and in a timely mannerKeeps current with industry technical knowledge.QUALIFICATIONS:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Experience in Oil & Gas Upstream sector, fracking and Coil tubing. Proficiency with entering data into a computer and software programs. Overnight travel about 40% of the time. LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to effectively present information to customer, top management or public groups. Ability to prepare effective sales proposals.MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume. REASONING ABILITY:Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables, in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATION:Valid state driver's license.
