360 Live Media is looking for an Account Manager

to join our team in Washington, D.C. We are seeking a professional who wants to develop meaningful relationships with clients and internal teams while delivering superior work for membership organizations.

What You Will Do:

Client Relationships and Growth

Directly manage assigned client accounts, with overall responsibility for the client-agency relationship.

Act as day-to-day contact for clients, building and retaining trusting relationships.

Provide superior customer service and ensure client satisfaction.

Communicate confidently with clients at a senior level to resolve issues and inquiries.

Understand client needs, identify growth opportunities, and secure scope expansions.

Become an authority on client’s brand and industry.

Coordinate and lead stakeholder and client meetings.

Manage profitability of all assigned client projects.

Contribute to new business efforts including research, proposal development and building SOWs.

Project Management and Quality Assurance

Develop the creation of client project plans and timelines including strategic services, event and tradeshow strategy, marketing and creative.

Support the development and provide strategic oversight of the creation of client deliverables and presentations.

Collaborate cross functionally with complex internal and external teams, managing both up and down, to drive client business forward.

Develop and maintain excellent knowledge and understanding of our business, offerings, competitors, and industry.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required.

5 years of experience in account management at an events, creative, or marketing agency.

Experience managing large account portfolios and multiple clients / projects simultaneously while prioritizing workload.

Demonstrated ability to retain and grow existing client accounts.

Highly organized with strong project management skills, including the ability to be detail-oriented, prioritize and manage internal workflow after assessing client priorities.

Propensity for taking a strategic view of things, with a particular focus on providing solutions.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.

Self-starter and able to work efficiently and independently under pressure in an entrepreneurial, fast paced environment.

A team player with a “no job is too small” attitude.

Superb Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

A writing or PowerPoint assignment may be a part of the hiring process.

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with the association space.

Experience with Project Management Systems such as or ProWorkflow.

Proven ability to manage people or lead a team.
