ADS is currently seeking a candidate for our newly opened Supplier Account Manager position within the Medical Market who will focus on Human Performance customers, suppliers, and contracts in government space.\r

SUPPLIER ACCOUNT MANAGER MEDICAL MARKET\r
The Supplier Account Manager will be responsible for the maintenance of existing relationships for an assigned group of suppliers. An effective Supplier Account Manager understands and can articulate their vendors' positions in the customer landscape and at ADS.\r
Description\r
\r
Foster relationships with existing suppliers\r
Maintain high scores in Key Performance Indicators surrounding vendor contacts and margin attainment\r
\r
\r
Advise ADS sales team on product, pricing and deal strategies to help them generate business and meet their company goals.\r
\r
Effectively communicate the details of our supplier relationships\r
Coordinate sales training, joint sales calls and lead sharing with ADS sales team and suppliers\r
\r
\r
\r
Oversee supplier agreements and pricing\r
\r
Responsible for communicating pricing information in a timely fashion\r
Support all Proposal requests for pricing\r
\r
\r
Manage supplier expectations and engagement\r
Assist with preparation of Vendor Plans and quarterly reviews\r
Manage supplier contract schedules\r
Support ADS-specific products and part numbers\r
Manage supplier incentive programs\r
Provide support to Marketing by managing supplier tradeshow and catalog participation\r
Assist and support all departments with day-to-day needs with our suppliers\r

Minimum Requirements\r
\r
Bachelor's Degree\r
3-5 years' experience with vendors or supplier relations or in medical sales\r
2 years' experience with MS Office\r
Willingness to travel on a limited basis (approximately once per month)\r
Understanding of ADS contract vehicles highly preferred must be able to quickly become proficient in relevant buying methods\r
ADS experience may be substituted for any of the above at manager's discretion \r
\r
All employees accepting a position as Supplier Account Manager will be expected to make a one year commitment and may not transfer to another role without approval from the EVP of Sales.\r
 \r
