Our Ivy Client Success Managers Make Things Happen
Houzz has acquired Ivy, a startup that has built a business management tool and engaged community for interior designers and other home design companies. Ivy’s platform enables interior designers to run their entire business - sourcing products, creating estimates, sending invoices, time billing, vendor purchases, and more. Cofounders Alex Schinasi and Lee Rotenberg launched Ivy in July 2016 with the mission to modernize the way interior design firms run their business-- a mission that aligns with our own. Since day one, Houzz has been focused on providing the best experience for home renovation and design.
The addition of Ivy’s platform will enable Houzz to provide home professionals with tools that will help them run their businesses more efficiently, effectively and profitably. We’re excited to bring the power of Ivy’s software and community to more professionals on Houzz.

We are a platform for home remodeling and design, bringing homeowners and home professionals together in a uniquely visual community. When founders Adi and Alon remodeled their home, they started the way these projects often do: with a tall stack of magazines and referrals for home professionals from people they knew. But after those piles of torn out pages failed to make their dream a reality, they felt stuck. There had to be a better way. So they built Houzz. A place to browse and save beautiful home photos. A place to find the right design and construction professionals. A place to connect with others who have been there too. Houzz started as a side project but has become a community of more than 40 million homeowners, home design enthusiasts and home improvement professionals—across the country and around the world. Whether you are starting a complete kitchen remodel or just looking for the perfect bedside table, the Houzz community of homeowners and professionals is here to help. And when you are ready to start your project, Houzz is the best way to get inspired, discover products and to find and collaborate with the perfect architect, designer or contractor.
