: The Division Account Manager is the overall trainer and new process implementation manager for the field Account Management Associate (AMA) team. The DAM trains newly hired AMAs for all markets and is responsible for building the skill sets of each AMA and developing remediation plans when necessary or as directed by local market managers or other Division Managers. The DAM will provide quarterly educational or instructional meetings for the field AMA staff and is responsible for coordinating with Division Managers as assigned and delivering special proposals, projects, sales decks, Strata templates each year

Specific responsibilities assigned to this position include, but are not limited to:

Supervises the collection and analysis of relevant information concerning current and potential markets.

Designs presentations to motivate, encourage and stress the importance of cable advertising to current and potential clients.

Maintains a library of market data and sales tools.

Analyzes, interprets, and presents research data for use in on-going sales efforts.

Development of Political Reporting Process Implementation and Training.

Trains AMA team members on available marketing resources and use of innovative market research techniques.

Oversight of updated key upgrade sales deck and sales contest (each September).

Creation of updated NFL and college sports sales deck and order template (annually in May).

Development of updated March Madness sports sales deck and order template (annual rollout in January).

Development of updated 72 Hour sale concept/sales deck/order template Q1 and Q3.

Maintain mastery of the following tools and systems: Strata/Nielsen, AdMall, Kantar or similar, Scarborough or similar, Showseeker, Frequence, TIM or similar, In-house viewership research.

Performs other functions or special projects as assigned.


Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Five years media research experience.

Previous supervisory experience.

Ability to communicate effectively with clients, sales and management personnel.

Demonstrated proficiency with computer software and technology including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.

Awareness of competitive conditions.

Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Ability to perform all the duties and responsibilities as described.
