A sales support role to assist regions in achieving assigned renewal sales goals for math and science curriculum products within the assigned territory. Primary responsibilities include: customer retention and expansion, training follow-up, usage reports, and other customer retention activities as assigned by the Regional Sales Manager. Activities include customer care, pipeline and task management, and renewal quote preparation.

Essential Job Functions:

Assist Field Sales to achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets by engaging customers pro-actively to encourage best usage, retention, and expansion

Specific assignment to make pro-active customer calls to small and medium size contracts; discuss renewal options and how to add additional products and services

Provide general customer service support to existing accounts; answer basic customer questions, discuss renewal options, and provide general support where assigned

Prepare simple quotes of standard renewal options, add-ons, and expansion

Maintain accurate sales pipeline, forecasts, and up to date account records

Complete all customer follow up tasks on time and in an appropriate manner

Additional Job Functions:

Develop and maintain a positive business relationship with management, inside and field sales associates, and related ExploreLearning department staff

Required Qualifications:

1-2 years sales or customer service experience

Self-confidence and motivation

Organization skills and attention to details

Ability to prioritize and multi-task

An obsession with customer service and quality

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

The ability to work with others in team to achieve common objectives

Preferred Skills and Abilities:

Associate’s Degree or Higher preferred

Experience or background in education with focus on math or science

Knowledge of on-line curriculum products and services; knowledge of math and/or science curriculum; understanding of the K-12 market

Proficiency with MS Word and Excel
