UPG Customer Account Mgr','WD30063687036','!*!What you will do:

This position serves as the primary business contact for distributor accounts
and is expected to consistently provide excellent customer service as well as
represent customer needs and goals within the organization to ensure quality in
accordance with both the distributor and Johnson Controls expectations. In
addition, the AM builds strong relationships with customers to encourage new
and repeat business opportunities and broaden the overall market share for the
Company. Primary responsibilities include assisting the Sales Service Manager
in customer support services, as well as developing and maintaining effective
channels of communication with both customers and internal support personnel.
The AM must also possess strong multi-tasking skills, a high degree of
initiative and leadership skills, and Microsoft Office knowledge.


How you will do it:


*Management of multiple customer -specific
accounts as assigned by management
* Promotes special sales initiatives including unsold Balance on Hand, Lead
Time Orders, Obsolete Inventory, and Special Terms event offerings
* Recommends product replacement models for phase-out/phase-in models to
* Assists customers with new model configuration process as necessary
* Obtains shipping quotes as necessary for calculation of sales Incoterms
* Assists customer with Order Placement, Credit Requests, Return
Authorizations, Shipping Issues, Product Availability, and Pricing inquiries
* Primary contact for all daily customer inquiries and communications regarding
order readiness, projected delivery dates, and sales and distribution policies
and procedures
* Provides fundamental training to customers for website applications for daily
* Ensures that customer issues are dealt with in an efficient, timely manner
and enlists the help of management or Supervisory personnel when appropriate
* Order entry and all customer changes to orders
* Order expediting with production planning personnel
* Order status of quantities shipped and/or pending and estimated ready date
* Order delay notification (i.e. Purchasing, Production or Logistics issues)
* Job site coordination with End Customer/Contractor (on-time delivery
* Model number updates (phase-in/phase-out) on orders according to product life
cycle--seeking clarification of information from various supporting departments


What we look for:


 Education and Experience: Bachelors Degree or some college courses
required. Three to four years experience in Account Management is preferred or
similar Customer Service experience is required
* Experience in SAP preferred
* Strong Data entry skills
* Proficiency required in Microsoft Office (i.e.
Excel, Word, Power Point)
* Extremely detail- oriented and
* Ability to plan and carry out responsibilities
with minimal direction
* Advanced problem resolution skills
* Ability to apply sales and distribution
policies effectively and responsibly
* Ability to manage multiple customer accounts
as assigned
* Excellent written and oral communication
skills with all levels of management and internal/external customer base
* Motivated, goal-oriented, and persistent
* Highly innovative and willing to go beyond
customer expectations to drive positive results
* Works well in team environment
* Handles stressful situations and deadline
pressures well

* Conducts all activities and communications with customers in
professional and courteous manner as foremost representative of Johnson
