Overview

Responsible for the maximizing sales of

fine wine brands represented by the company to Off Premise Retail Accounts in

an assigned territory by direct contact and prospecting new accounts. Execute

sales plans and special promotions towards the achievement of predetermined

sales goals. Service customers with special product deliveries on short notices

and other customer sales needs.Duties and Responsibilities

·        

Promote

and demonstrate fine wine knowledge within a set geographic region to increase

sales among high profile independent retail accounts and the top 10% of

influencer grocery accounts.

·        

Make

regular sales calls to designated accounts to cultivate customer relations and

satisfaction with service provided.

·        

Partner

with multiple sales divisions in the accounts to increase wine sales and act as

a liaison with customers regarding selections and placements.

·        

Participate

in sales meetings and on-site training to remain educated in company policy and

industry trends/developments.

·        

Educate

account staff through preparation and performance of on-site training for Off

Premise Retail Accounts.

·        

Create,

coordinate, and attend on-site promotional functions at established customer

accounts. (i.e. wine maker dinners, product launches, and tastings).

·        

Perform

other work related duties and special projects as assigned.

·        

Analyze

marketing information on competitive products, including pricing and

promotions.

Minimum Qualifications• Bachelor degree or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience • 5 years of industry related sales experience within the distribution, hospitality or supplier  community• Continued education with Court of Master Sommeliers & or Society of Wine Educators• Comprehensive understanding of wine to include major wine regions/varietals, wine/food pairing techniques, basic production, and wine service• Proficient at calculating relative sales data:  margin, mark up, and reviewing comparative sales data for analysis• Adaptable and can assist a variety of internal customer groups and varying personality types• Thrive on creating and selling innovative ideas and demonstrate an entrepreneurial spirit• Strong negotiation skills• Possess a dependable vehicle, valid driver's license, proof of state registration and insurance, and an acceptable driving record • Goal oriented, focused, and assertive individualPhysical Demands• Physical demands with activity or condition may include occasional to rare amount of time include walking, bending, reaching, standing, and stooping• May require frequent lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 45lbs','Sales','United States-Texas-Houston','','Day Shift','Pinnacle Fine Wine Key Account Manager
