Position Summary
You’ll be at the crossroads of sales and marketing. While you report to the Head of Accounts who drives sales and strategy for our client relationships, you’ll be closely connected to marketing, content, and subject matter experts from every department. Your job will be very specialized and focused on growth and account strategy, but you’ll also be a part of all aspects of the agency. From inbound leads to brand development to client relationships, you will be given responsibility, autonomy, and support from some of the most talented people in the business.
Functions and Responsibilities:
Respond to and nurture inbound leads
Communicate with prospective customers through LiveChat on our website
Supercharge Marcel Digital social accounts with an integrated content and posting strategy
Presentation and marketing/sales asset development
Brand development
CRM support and reporting
Marcel Digital content calendar creation and coordination with Subject Matter Experts
Deliver marketing research, reporting, and analysis (when needed to support ongoing sales efforts)
Own the regular creation and enhancement of marketing materials including tip sheets, sales sheets, blog posts, white papers, and content distribution, especially in support of new services as needed
Identify and apply for award submission opportunities
Identify and apply for speaking engagements for Subject Matter Experts
Coordinate and leverage testimonials and case studies
Event planning for local networking events and our annual Umbraco CMS conference (in coordination with a handful of other agencies)
Skills Traits Abilities:
Desires autonomy and ownership, but enjoys thought partnership with talented individuals.
Ability to communicate with prospects appropriately.
Strong project management skills (required). It is a lot to juggle.
Minimum 2 years professional or business experience
Minimum 2 years Digital Marketing/Website experience. Must understand what we deliver.
Ability to listen, digest, decide and act.
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite or similar (preferred).
Experience with Google Analytics. Ability to look at reports, digest data, and develop insights (preferred).
Basic SEO knowledge (preferred)
Basic knowledge of a CMS (preferred)
Basic social media experience (preferred)
Experience with SugarCRM or SalesForce (preferred)
