The Senior Account Manager of Market Development position is responsible for all levels of communication, program penetration, business strategy, customer satisfaction, and financial growth within assigned Foodbuy customers. This is a remote position and can be located any where close to an airport.
*Develop, Build and Maintain strong relationships with Foodbuy customers to enhance business opportunities *Manage all aspects of customer contract requirements, utilizing project management planning tools *Facilitate cross functional activities to help ensure customer satisfaction and Foodbuy program growth *Align customer and Foodbuy objectives *Identify supply cost reduction opportunities for customers *Increase customer’s Foodbuy program participation *Utilize support tools to identify opportunities to increase Foodbuy program participation *Be a trusted advisor for customers *Be customer advocate within Foodbuy *Create clear and concise written materials and presentations *Facilitate customer meetings and business reviews in timely and actionable manner *Maximizes the impact of Foodbuy resources on customers activities *Work in a team environment to support customers and Foodbuy
*A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required; focus in Business preferred *Minimum of 5+ years managing large regional and/or national accounts *Strong organizational and project management skills *Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft suite of applications is required *Ability to travel extensively, 50%+ primarily to Charlotte and client locations *Excellent written and verbal communication abilities as well as strong visual presentation skills *Excellent customer/client relationship skills *Ability to build effective long-term business relationships *Strong influencing skills—must be able to persuade people’s attitudes, behaviors and decisions to desired results *Ability to manage financial resources to help ensure the achievement of customers and Foodbuy objectives. *Excellent negotiation skills--proven ability to develop win-win solutions.

Mr. Balbontín founded Compass Group LLC in 1995 and is currently the president of the Board and a senior investment strategist. He was previously a managing partner and founder of New World Investments Group of Banco Santander in New York. Mr. Balbontín has also served as director of Capital Markets and co-director of Sales and Trading of Citicorp Emerging Markets Group (ICFD) in New York, London, and Tokyo. He has more than 25 years of experience in asset management, investment banking, and private capital investments in Latin America and other emerging markets. Mr. Balbontín has a Bachelor´s degree in Business Administration from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and MBA from Harvard Business School.
