AdventHealth Maitland seeks to hire Strategic Account Manager who will embrace our mission to extend the healing ministry of Christ.

Facility Profile:

Established in 1908, AdventHealth is one of the largest not-for-profit healthcare systems in the country, caring for more than a million patients each year. The 2,675-bed acute-care medical facility, comprised of nine hospitals, has been recognized by U.S. News & World Report as one of the best hospitals in the country for over 10 years. It serves as a community hospital for Greater Orlando and as a major tertiary referral hospital for Central Florida and much of the Southeast, the Caribbean and Latin America.

Department Profile:

The AdventHealth Marketing team is comprised of non-clinical staff responsible for the promotion of medical services and service-lines, programs and on-site capabilities to past, present and future patients of AdventHealths. We work directly with administration, physicians, clinical staff and service line experts to insure an accurate representation of hospital capabilities as it relates to both the campus and the Florida Brand entity.

Work Hours/Shifts:

Monday - Friday 8:00a -5:00p; Friday 8:00a – 2:30p

Job Summary:

The role of the Strategic Account Manager is to develop business opportunities for FH and FHCC BHS within an assigned portfolio of municipalities, government, and/or business accounts within the Central Florida community. In this role, special projects will also be assigned to respond to the dynamic market. This includes maintaining and growing existing contracts established with the employer as well as identifying new opportunities to grow service offerings for the client. Thorough health care knowledge of the customer are essential to maximizing the benefits that FH could potentially offer. Responsible for generating a minimum of $150,000 (or assigned annual goal) in annual revenue for an assigned employer base. Adheres to Florida Hospital Corporate Compliance plan and all rules and regulations of all applicable local, state, and federal agencies and accrediting bodies. This position actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.

Knowledge, Skills, Education, & Experience Required:

Excellent Communication and Service Recovery Skills

Good Computer Skills, Microsoft Office

Able to work with people from a variety of backgrounds

Knowledge of Central Florida employer community (Preferred)

Sales and Marketing Experience

Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in sales and marketing. (Preferred)

Five or more years experience in occupational medicine sales with proven results. (Preferred)

Workers’ Compensation experience (Preferred)

Licensure, Certification, or Registration Required:

Driver’s license

Job Responsibilities:

Has outstanding communication skills both with clients as well as internally within the organization.

Exhbits good organizational skills including utilizing Saleslogix daily for scheduling and tracking opportunities.

Demonstrates effective communication skills in internal and external meetings. Confident public speaking skills.

Displays exceptional relationship building skills both internal and external to the organization.

Florida Hospital Waterman was founded in 1938 as a legacy of Frank Waterman, president of the Waterman Fountain Pen Company. In 1938, Mr. Waterman turned the elegant Fountain Inn in downtown Eustis over to a group of local doctors for use as a hospital, and the new Lake County Medical Center was to become the major cornerstone of health care in Lake County.
