About this Job:

We are seeking a dynamic, self-motivated, professional as a Strategic Account Manager, Building Services & Construction

. This position is responsible for targeting and developing key strategic customer accounts across North America. The Strategic Account Manager works to analyze, design and manage targeted sales objectives and business strategies.

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university

8 years related experience in construction industry with a demonstrated track record of success in national sales

Self-starter with the ability to work autonomously

Market driven professional with high levels of energy and enthusiasm

Excellent communication skills (verbal, written and presentation)

Effective problem-solving skills, analytical and strategic thinker

Sound judgment and strong decision-making ability; curiosity for information and customer insight

Strong leadership skills and project management capability

Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment

Your key responsibilities:

We’re Dynamic & Innovative. In an ever-changing business you will be nimble in seizing opportunities to pioneer effective ways to meet and exceed your responsibilities:

Formulate sales forecasting / projections

Execute and drive competitive market analysis studies throughout the Areas.

Key contributor to identify market potential and establish pricing and market strategies for key strategic accounts

Support/drive key customer and product initiatives as developed within the business strategy

Execute direct selling to deliver personal sales goals, negotiating contracts, initiating proposals and closing deals

Identify key strategic accounts and substantially increase revenue and market share within these accounts, by seeking new sales opportunities, initiating action plans to approach and secure new business

Develop customer partnerships and senior management relationships

Communicate information concerning collections, estimated revenues of contracts, new contracts, pending contracts, and overall activity with key strategic accounts

Partner with Area Sales Managers to coach and mentor local sales representatives in approach and technique for key strategic accounts as needed

Work with National Accounts team to sign contracts with these accounts that will help increase our market share.

Work with existing national accounts and local selling teams to increase share of wallet of existing accounts.

Assist in planning and directing sales programs to promote new markets, improve competitive position in Areas.

Spend a portion of time in field with Sales representatives

Participate in Quarterly and bi-annual customer reviews

Utilize existing account management processes and reporting systems

Maintain knowledge of Aggreko equipment and applications

Review articles in trade publications to keep abreast of technology and equipment

Deliver targeted training to Aggreko and customer sales to promote creation of business
