Role Summary:
The Sangoma Channel Sales team is looking for a Channel Sales Account Manager with proven channel sales experience selling high-tech offerings and services to join us in the Northeast territory. In this role, you will oversee sales activities for our UCaaS, TaaS, and UC solutions portfolios and identify, nurture, and close opportunities with channel partners. You will support a set of key Sangoma partner relationships and manage the development and implementation of the sales and technical enablement in the territory.
As a Channel Sales Account Manager, you will also forecast the region's channel revenue along with being accountable for managing all reseller partnerships and spearheading recruitment and successfully developing alliances with new partners.
You'll need to have excellent communication skills and a record of success in technology channel sales.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
Manage key Sangoma partners in the territory.
Build revenue and non-revenue business plans with these partners.
Provide ongoing sales and technical training to these partners.
Build marketing plans to drive incremental sales pipeline and revenues with development funds.
Provide geographic channel coverage for the territory.
Carry quarterly and annual revenue targets.
Work closely with existing and potential reseller partners to develop strategic account plans to grow the adoption of Sangoma solutions through these resellers.
Work closely with Sangoma’s inside channel account managers, account executives, sales engineers, distribution team, cloud team, and inside sales representatives, to support sales and channel partner expansion efforts.
Provide sales support to partner sales teams through training, customer visits, technical and administrative information, and customer price quotes on our offerings and their demonstrations.
Create strategic and tactical plans for new business development while guiding the extended sales team in using these plans to maximize revenue and growth.
Call on prospective customers, providing technical and administrative information and price quotes on our offerings and their demonstrations.
Develop sustainable revenue across technologies.
Accurately forecast and close sales that align with company goals.
Understand the customer business and technology needs related to offerings and communicate these to executives.
Required Skills:
Minimum of 5 years proven sales experience in IT networking or telephony.
Experience building business and marketing plans with partners.
Experience in UCaas and/or UC preferred.
Ability to travel up to 30-40% within the territory.
Must reside in a major city within the sales territory.
Candidates must thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
Must have experience in delivering sales training, and experience in working in a fast pace environment with revenue responsibilities.
Excellent presentation skills to executives & individual contributors.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience with Salesforce.com is a plus.
Bachelor's degree preferably in business, marketing, or other technical discipline.
