Kennedys is looking to recruit a Key Client Executive to join our global Business Development team based in London.
The purpose of this role is to provide proactive support for the Senior Key Client Manager and Kennedys Relationship management (KRM) Team. You will help coordinate client planning and facilitate strategy meetings and international conference calls to develop the profile and success of our KRM programme globally at Kennedys.
Team
Kennedys Business Development team promotes Kennedys services and supports the firm's global growth ambition and our key clients and markets.
The UK Business Development team consists of the following sub-teams, Pursuits, Clients and Markets, Client Development Systems and Marketing which encompasses, Digital, Brand and Events.
We also have a Business Development presence in nine global offices.
Key Responsibilities
Work with the Client Development Managers to support them on their business development activities and client development opportunities coordinating strategy group meetings and international conference calls to review the plans and ensuring that agreed actions from are updated in our CRM system (InterAction) and progress is monitored.
Support the Client Development Managers to proactively track client and industry news and trends, spotting revenue generation opportunities. Work with the Senior Client Development Manager in developing such opportunities with the KRM leaders and strategy groups.
Undertake and analyse client, competitor and market research that supports business development plans.
Help drive efficient opportunity reporting for the KRM programme and help the Pursuits team with pipeline management and pitch opportunities providing insight into clients and key practice areas.
Work with key international stakeholders (including our global BD team) to ensure we share knowledge, best practices and opportunities, driving processes and presenting a coordinated approach both internally and externally.
Work with the Client Development Systems Manager as well as the KRM Team in developing and promoting meaningful reports from InterAction and the appropriate financial performance data to help communicate business development activities across the KRM programme. To:

Required experience
Previous experience of workingwith business development programmes within professional services environment
Strong project management and planning skills
Effective business writing and communication styles, adaptable to various situations
Service delivery and results focused
Proactive, Strategic and pragmatic; committed to developing 'trusted adviser' status
Proactive, enthusiastic and optimistic attitude; commitment to profitable growth by Kennedys
Adhere to Kennedys' core values through working relationships, attitude and behaviour.
Excellent IT skills in Word and PowerPoint, Power BI and advanced skills with Excel
Good relationship building and interpersonal skills
Previous experience supporting client relationship management initiatives and key account programmes in particular, desirable.
Understanding of the insurance industry, desirable.
Pragmatic operator, comfortable working in a non-directive environment, desirable
Creative approach to meeting challenges and opportunities, desirable
