Customer Account Manager Jobs description

A customer account manager is responsible for generating assigned revenue targets by selling a firm\'s products and services to customers. Typical duties of a customer account manager include cold calling, visiting customer locations, up-selling, cross selling, offering maintenance and service renewals to customers, retaining business from existing customers, understanding customer requirements and proposing a product, guiding trainee customer account managers or customer account executives, objection handling and problem solving. A customer account manager may report to a customer account director.
A customer account manager should have a bachelor\'s degree and several years of experience in the field of account management.
