Retail Account Manager Jobs description
A retail account manager is responsible for acting as a business contact for retail accounts; developing corporate contracts and maintaining long term relationships; satisfying the requests made by customers related to bills, purchase orders, and other documents; developing retail training programs for retail executives; personally training retail executives; handling queries from customers; tracking customer orders and responding to requests; attending training sessions; providing feedback to the management on retail operations; guiding new or trainee retail account managers; coordinating with logistics and marketing divisions; mentoring and supervising retail account executives; setting performance standards for self and others and so on. A retail account manager typically reports to the director – retail operations.A retail account manager should have a bachelor's degree in a relevant field. An MBA is advantageous. Several years of experience reporting to a retail account manager is beneficial. Excellent customer service skills are essential.
