An excellent medical communications client is actively growing and seeking to add experienced members to the client services team at both the Account Manager & Senior Account Manager levels.
***Client facing, client/account management experience within a publications/publication planning agency is required. ***
Full time permanent staff role
100% Work from Home, Hybrid or Office if Preferred

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage the day-to-day activities in assigned accounts.
Manage assigned account(s)/ book of business by leading client communications and serve as the point of contact.
Work collaboratively with internal agency departments (project, client services, scientific, editorial, and creative) through all stages of the publication process.
Manage and direct delivery of scientific congress materials including abstracts, scientific posters, slide decks, publication plans, manuscripts, and oral presentations.
Experience utilizing regulatory content management systems (DataVision, PubStrat) to ensure alignment to ICMJE and PhRMA guidelines.
Proficient understanding of acceptable industry processes for author engagement, compliance reporting and project tracking.
Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with industry best practices to meet client needs
Maintain status reports and financial tracking.
Responsible for creating and tracking abstracts, posters, and manuscripts
Responsible for leading meetings (internal & external), working with scientific professionals, client services leadership and team members to ensure timelines and projects are on schedule & budget.
Schedule appropriate meetings with client(s), agency staff, and authors on publication status
Establish and maintain effective professional client relationships.
Develops client budgets, scope of work, and estimates.
QA/QC of junior client services team members work and provide direction, as necessary.
Look for opportunities to organically grow accounts.
Ensure delivery of recommendations made from client meetings by working with internal departments.
Qualifying for this position requires the following:
Approximately seven (7) or more years’ experience within a publications/publication planning medical communications agency
Therapeutics experience open
BA/BS College Degree
Excellent communications skills both written and verbal
A strong background in excellent client management
Management and/or mentoring of junior staff experience is a plus
Understanding of financial reporting
Excellent relationship building, attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Computer literate (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook & Project)
Experience utilizing regulatory content management systems ( i.e., DataVision, PubStrat)
